In a move which opens up opportunities for winning more business from Europe’s top companies for its award-winning assyst Service Management tool, Axios Systems has signed a partnership agreement with independent IT services company Devoteam.
The agreement, which initially covers the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, will see Devoteam recommending assyst to end-users where appropriate as a Help Desk and IT Service Management (ITSM) solution. It is installing assyst at its own virtual ‘university’ - where staff are trained on latest IT technologies - and in its demonstration centres in Belgium and The Netherlands.
“This partnership is further evidence of our growing importance in the continental market and should help us attract more business from Europe’s top 500 companies which are Devoteam’s main targets,” Erwin Angelier, Axios’ Marketing Manager for the Benelux region, commented.
Wim Geukens, Devoteam’s Managing Director for the Netherlands, said assyst “is a very mature product with many reference sites. It has a lot to offer”.
He continued: “Other reasons for deciding to work with Axios included the fact that it was growing rapidly and that assyst complies fully with the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL®)”. “assyst is a good solution which can connect to other applications and systems. Unlike most of its competitors, it can operate over a Citrix Metaframe network.”
Mr Geukens said Devoteam staff would also be taking Axios’ examinations to become assyst-certified. ”This will allow us to have a quality label to show we are able to implement the solution,” he went on.
The two organisations have already begun joint sales and marketing activities and will be exhibiting at the Telecom cITy show in Brussels from May 20-22.
